All submissions undergo an initial editorial assessment to determine relevance to the journal’s scope, adherence to submission requirements, and basic standards of scientific and ethical quality. Manuscripts that pass initial screening are sent for double-anonymous peer review by at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise. Policy for Submissions from Editors or Editorial Board Members
Submissions authored by editors, editorial board members, or individuals with editorial responsibility are handled independently by an editor with no competing interest in the manuscript. Such submissions are subject to the same peer review standards as all other manuscripts, and the editorial decision is made without involvement from the author-editor.
Reviewer Policy
Reviewers are selected on the basis of subject expertise, academic suitability, and the absence of relevant conflicts of interest. Reviewers are expected to maintain confidentiality, provide objective and constructive feedback, and declare any competing interests that may affect the integrity of the review process.
